The Houstonian is up between Woodway and Memorial and is pretty near where they live now. In fact, it's a little bit farther away from River Oaks than where they live now.

Back when GW was young they lived in the Tanglewood/Memorial area. Later sold that house and their address in Houston was the Houstonian. When he left the Presidency he built a new house in Tanglewood on a small lot he'd owned for some time. They've never lived in River Oaks.

If GW went to visit his folks in Tanglewood and wanted to attend a Methodist church, it's likely he'd go to one of several in that neighborhood. Westminster UMC is close - much closer than River Oaks UMC which is on the other side of the Galleria and 610 Loop. Chapelwood UMC would also be close.

Yes I would like to comment on this. Name names! Tell who said what when! Right here on SI will do for starters. There's criminal proceedings against Enron insiders going on here right now. Fastow plea-bargained and Skilling will be indicted next. This all from the front page of the Chronicle. Now if you've got info and aren't making it available, why aren't you? Course, we both know you're just bullshitting, right?
