Well under control, thank you. I still haven't read anything about this except what's been posted here. When it shows up in the Post or the Times, then I'll read it. It's a waste of time watching it dribble out. I'll wait for the executive summary.
Re the comments by friends and relatives, why are they dropping hints but not spilling the beans? Odd that her father would call Kerry a sleazeball and back that up with, heaven help us, a call to work on a campaign. Gosh, a job offer. Quick, call the cops! Is that all he said or is that all of what he said that's being reported?
If the friends and relatives have stories they are telling, then we would have seen the story broken in the major media already. Scooping a sexy story trumps liberal bias every time.
Re the hiding out, I'd be hiding out if I were in her shoes whether the story was true or not. If your life is going to be ruined, better that happen with as little spotlight and confrontation as possible.
I'll admit to being curious, more for the way it's playing out than the substance of the story. I'm not invested in the outcome. |
