<<What a fun game that is - playing the victim.>>

Who's playing victim dare I ask? Looked in the mirror lately?

The NYers the US have resisted playing victim, instead ACTED...both with compassion and force...Which country has supplied billions of dollars to "victimized" nations via the UN, private charities and citizen donations throughout the world since WW2? Which country has done the most to advance the world's knowledge of science, business and medicine? It's citizens pay for it and don't ask for royalty from their world neighbors who enjoy it's fruits?...I would hardly call us victims...

Yes, the US has many warts...I know them...so save yourself the trouble of going into history books or about sweat shops in China, migrant farmers' plights, our homicide rates...but one of it's finest traits is it's humanitarian generosity...if not for the US $$...there'd be no UN, no WHO, no UNICEF, no Doctors without Borders, no Red Cross...No Bill Gates donating millions of dollars to Africa for TB....Joan Kroc leaving her multibillion dollar estate to organizations like the Salvation Army which helps people worlwide...

The US is a country that others love to hate...so as Tom said, fire away...

BTW...I was not born on US soil...but raised here...this country allowed my family to go from penniless immigrants to real estate millionaires and IVY league graduates in one generation...and allows me to call myself AMERICAN...how many other countries afford their immigrants those kinds of "licenses?"
