The idea of a vote in a democratic society is that it should be pure as the driven snow (and that's not the yellow snow). Otherwise, what's the diff between us and a third world country?

The very bad thing is that now there are questions across the country about voting whether it's paper or anything more new fangled. We can send a bot to Mars but we can't get voting done correctly?

The country is about evenly divided between Dems and Reps (which is pretty amazing in and of itself) so a handful of voters in a couple of states (Florida and PA come to mind) could make all the difference this year. Unless one of the candidates implodes, this could be another 2000....a very close thing.
