That's a great chart Gottfried. If you draw a line along the previous bottoms since October 2002 you will see that the SOX can still fall a bit further relative to the NASDAQ without breaking its leadership role:

But you can also see that if you draw a line from the bottoms set since last July that the recent weakness has broken the shorter term high level of leadership that the SOX was enjoying since then.
