I agree 100% I fault management for not dealing with the FDA more forcefully. Fear that a regulator will hurt you allows the regulator to make you hurt yourself.

Could the FDA have done anything to Xoma that would have been worse than what Xoma has done to itself?

I do think posters should make the full story available and not just the parts that provide only one side of the story.

I would not have posted the FDA letter again had not the supposed favorable conclusion been just re-posted.
