That said, I really to not wish to "sell" you on xoma.
I have noted though that when you where "in" you saw many things as "peachy", when you exited then things appeared "not peachy". Thats OK. I have no problem with that. In fact I really dont care what you do. But, I do consider you a e-friend and a such, I merely wish to point out to you that you should indeed re-examine you current good fortune and indeed re-examine your current and former reasons for interest in this company.
Its certainly ok to factor in the lack of transparency issue of yours. My point is you have a unique opportunity. Like I said. I have no desire to sell you on it, only to suggest you take some perspective on it and hopefully whatever decision you make will be a good decision for you.
