When i was in I saw many things as peachy but complained constantly about many other things. Now that I am out I still think I see potential but have become more interested in other situations. This has protected me as I certainly did not expect Xoma to perform in such a dismal fashion and if I had re purchased or not sold I would be a very unhappy camper.

Way back with the "trauma" trial I predicted the results were not strong. Ask Cacaito. Even with the meningo trial I calculated the mortality almost exactly, missing by only one.

I was happy with the sale of the retuxan royalties for around $17 million. Now I would like to know if any Xoma employee or relative of any Xoma connected person had any interest in the buying group. I doubt they did. And still regard the decision as a sound business decision.

I liked the decision to go with Baxter. Later I complained. While still a holder I complained loudly about the lack of info on Crohn's results. Also complained about the old 2001 diabetic retinopathy data being foisted on us as though it was new.

So I think you are not be fair. There is just so much more to invest in than Xoma, and one is told what the company plans to do, when, cost, expected completion dates and expected date for the release of results.

Once you see this why would you want to beg for results of a trial that became a study? <g>
