Many lives have been lost and billions spent over this lapse of judgement I wouldn't call the war a lapse of judgement. Maybe the earlier statements about WMD are, but I think its more likely they represent a lack of accurate info. "I think the overall effect of the war has been positive." We will just have to agree to disagree. No problem with that. It would hardly be the first time... It was the same guys in power now who provided aid to Saddam back in the '80s. When it was feared that he would be overun by Iran. Also the US isn't even in the top 5 on the list of weapons providers to Saddam's military. Tim
