Hi Ann, Thank you for posting this article.. An their complaint is so true: <<Some states also complain the intense focus on early primaries makes later contests less relevant.>> I have thought that because of the NATURE of the American public AND media, there should be ONLY one primary on the SAME day for each party in early Summer of a presidential year . Winner takes all.. And a special write in section for possible extra parties.. Then EVERY voter's vote counts equal.. No offense to Iowa or New Hampshire or another one of the early states. But then those relatively small states will not have the chance to choose who will run in either party. I say no offense to Iowa or NH, but I say MUCH offense to the American electorate and media because of their band wagon tendencies.. Everybody wants to be on the side of the winner without thinking... Look at history, most despots got in power only through the majority of the people jumping on the BW and piling on others.. I guess that is just human nature.. I don't know.. Take the EASY WAY OUT and proclaim victory.. I would rather be one of the minority.. "Among the few of the last honest men and women standing" THAN a band wagon jumper.. c
