I think you missed the point. He DID NOT throw his medals back. He threw SOMEBODY ELSE'S medals back. His are hanging on his office wall. And he has a right to throw someone else's over the wall too. But when he lied and said they were his own, I think it is fair to judge HIS character.

Bush's character is being tested every day he is in office. And he has not waivered a bit in the war on terrorism or the regime change in Iraq. If he chose the Nat'l Gaurd instead of Nam so be it.
