Hi Gina,
Kerry is ahead in the polls while other dems trail bush. That's good news for Bush. This is the anointment bump. Most of the country is not aware of the kerry blemishes and just have taken a first look and liked him. His support will be peeled away like an onion unless he follows Friedman and Brooks. He may try but like the scorpion his nature will get in the way. Kerry will campaign this summer by walking the beaches but he will be wearing flip flops. After all it's his nature. Mike

PS. I think core beliefs really don't change all that much from when you are a kid. And kid kerry after vietnam was thinking one-world under the UN. Yes reality bites, but deep down a guy like kerry can imagine a tent big enough to even include bin laden.
