Hi Oak! Do I recognize your name from the USDL thread? Re: DAMN BORING! Excuse me while I do my Old Sage act here, but I've got a story for you...the short version. 1985 I buy 200 shares of CCU at $15. 'cause I'm impressed with a couple of their top guys I meet at a convention. CCU is based out of Texas, and no sooner do I buy than Texas tanks, and all of its' companies stocks along with it. It sits at 12 for 2 years. I do nothing. (not a focused investor in those days) Today the stock is nearly 80 after many splits, and my retirement is assured. Keep repeating to yourself (as I did then, and especially with all these gold mutual fund shares I bought at THE TOP OF THE MARKET and am still holding on to)... ...It only has to hit once in your life to pay.
