>We are a nation of people that no one wanted and we do quite well for ourselves. This is not true. This country is made up of people who survived various hardships in their original countries. People in the US should have better genetics and survial skills. Did you know that China, a country whose people earns 1/10 of our salary, has a life expectancy of 72? This figure is only 5 years short of ours. I suspect we live longer primarily because of the billions of dollars that we're throwing at the nursing homes, not that we are healthier than the Chinese.
