I am not sure how they handle Island orders on AMEX stocks. While you can direct AMEX stock order to Island they never seem to be reflected on level 2 quotes in any way. It seems to be a little "island" of its own, but trades do occur???? A question I sent as to how order routing on Island for AMEX stocks was answered with the usual boiler plate reply that contained absolutely no useful information...
