Ann, thanks for your comments. There is some very positive and exciting news from the Dean campaign. He has always been very positive after Iowa. And therein lies the greatness of this country, a model political system, a envy of the world.

We (the entire world) watched how the US peacefully resolved the Presidential issue in 2000. Even the Democratic party bigwigs who backed Gore until the Supreme court decision advised Gore to withdraw in the interest of this great nation. But they surely did not fold their battle and their agenda. It is the same with Dean.

I fully agree that Dean set the tone for this campaign. He came out very boldly against Bush as early as January 2003 when it was a fashion for all to agree with Bush, when no one dared speak out against "the perceived success" of Bush. And here he was saying the country needed change. He had the entire State convention hall of the Democratic party rocking and up on their feet. BUt unfortunately he made one bad decision and that was to put all his money in Iowa.

I am sure that the Democratic party bigwigs, those who endorsed him like Harkin, Bradley etc. will work behind the scenes to ensure that he be part of the forthcoming revolution and not only that but also a major player. His oratory is a big big draw. Believe me I have experienced that in person. (That "I have a scream" speech is not his original style). I know what it is. It is very different.

However, Kerry also is a very good orator, maybe a little short on ideas compared to Dean. But good enough when you put him up against Bush.

And Dean is a pragmatist and he re-earned my respect when he quipped on TV the other day that "You don't put two New Englanders on the ticket"
