This is what Bush should have done 15 months ago instead of going to Iraq. This was when the Indian military was ready to march into Pakistan and sandwich Al Qaeda between the advancing US forces from the west in Afghanistan. But Rumsfeld went in there told both the countries to back off so that the US military could turn its attention to Iraq instead. Now the hunt for Osama is back on track. Let the Indian army march on across Lahore, Rawalpindi, Quetta, Islamabad, Karachi and stand face to face with the US military from the side of Afghanistan to flush out those goddamn terrorists from the rugged mountains of Waziristan. Mr. President, what a misguided policy yoou adopted by attacking Iraq?

Indian-U.S. Exercises Send Message to Musharraf
Feb 16, 2004

The U.S. and Indian air forces have begun a 10-day exercise over the central Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. This unusual move indicates Washington is sending a message to Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf that New Delhi is ready to help if he is unable or unwilling to root out al Qaeda from its northwestern border with Afghanistan. This extra pressure could create serious trouble for Musharraf at home.
