from todays Washington Post Could Fonar Pass The Test??? From Washington Post COMCAST FAILS GOVERNANCE TEST Comcast flunked a corporate governance test from the Corporate Library,an investment advisory group. The cable television operator got the same grade as Walt Disney Co. for which it has made an unsolicited $56 Billion stock bid. The group said that six of Philadelphia based ComCastt's 12 directors either work for the company or have business ties to it. Disney is under fire from dissident shareholders for what they call chief executive Michael D. Eisner's undue influence on the board.
