This is another one on those ugly perversions that emanate from Shrub's welfare program for the rich.

Cut dividend taxes to 15%. Who benefits?
People with below-average incomes usually don't collect enough dividends to buy a coffee at Starbucks. The middle and upper-middle classes keep a huge chunk of their dividend-paying stocks and funds in 401-K's and other tax-deferred vehicles. Net effect of a 15% tax rate on those accounts...ZERO.

But the fat cats....they make out like bandits.

Will ordinary working Americans wake up this fall and realize that the policies of this administration are absolutely antithetical to their interests?

What does Bush have to do to convince them that he is not exactly looking out for them? Maybe he could come and knock on their door and when they open it, spit in their face?

Would that work?

Nah.
