I'm not buying into your reducto ad absurdum. There were other options besides the course of naked aggression chosen by George Bush.

We'll agree to disagree on Kerry's vote to authorize the war. As you know, I've opposed the war from the start. Quite simply, too many obvious lies were told to us and the Congress in order to "sell" the war. Kerry had to have known that he was agreeing to a dishonest enterprise.
