Tippet, two years ago, I purchased a new GM car....

(Got the HUGE discount and was very pleased with the price.)

Well, after 60 days, I still didn't receive the original
title. Had paid cash, not even a trade-in, and the title
should have been in my hands weeks before.

Turns out the dealer put lien holder "GMAC" on the title
application. The original title went to GMAC in Baltimore.

The dealer profusely apologized for the mistake, and did
as promised...ordered a corrected title which was promptly
received.

I called to thank the lady at the dealership that took care
of this.

When I asked, "Does this kind of thing happen often?", she
said, "We almost never have anyone who can pay cash, so
we just goofed."

Sign of the times !!
