A ‘Dearth of Muslims’ Saves Japan
"American Thinker"

Reuters reports today that a senior member of Al Qaida has told US authorities that the terror group had planned to attack Japan in 2002, during the World Cup soccer matches, but:

it was difficult to establish a support system because of a dearth of Muslims in Japan

Japan, as a result, was spared a potentially devastating loss of life during a moment when it was the center of world sports attention.

According to the mass-circulation Japanese daily Sankei Shimbun, a conservative-leaning publication, the informant in question was Khalid Shaikh Mohammed, who is suspected of having plotted the September 11 attacks on New York and Washington, DC., and who is currently in American custody, having been captured in Pakistan.

If there is such a clear linkage between hosting Muslim immigrants and vulnerability to terror attacks, then why, pray tell, does the United States continue to welcome a stream of Muslim immigrants? Do we value political correctness above our own security?
