Nothing - it's perfectly legal. He is in fact providing most of MoveOn's funding.

Does he benefit directly (a la Enron, Bechtel, Halliburton et al) from Bush being defeated? If so, how?

Good question. I think it should be investigated by tthe press. He is suppposedly short the dollar though who knows if that is true or market misdirection (i.e. lying), which he admits he uses in speculations.

It bothers me a great deal that the 28th richest man in the world,

whose own wealth is sheltered in Curacao,

who is in the business of helping extremely wealthy people (I;m talking British royal family type wealth - they are reputed to be clients) escape taxation,

who certainly pays an effective lower tax rate than anyone reading this thread,

who is free from any government regulation over his market manipulations,

wants to raise my taxes and yours.
