Isn't that interesting! As I was reading through this I kept thinking how it seemed so similar to parts of Mallory (Morte D'Arthur)! Then I notice that it comes from the 14th century! It is amazing how it all connects and how we carry on the stories orally and now in print. The worst problem with Christianity is that they tossed out their best stories and then proceeded to concretize their myths in dogmatic ichor.
