What heathens fail to understand is that simply being monotheistic and making the claim to worship the "God of Abraham" is worthless if this God does not recognize you as being of His people. According to the Hebrew Scriptures, God made an eternal promise to only one people, the Hebrews. He did not utter such a promise to any other. So if the Arabs are of Ishamael or any other father, they are of a group that lies outside of God's promise and thus their islamic path to God is futile. True Christians cannot possibly worship the same god as allah, since the islamic god can be reached outside of the Hebrew God's promise. Allah is clearly different from the God of Israel.

So then how do gentiles, who are not of themselves people of the promise, worship the God of Israel? We worship Him through the Means by which God fulfills His promise to Israel - The Christ. The proof of islam's difference is that it has no part of this promise and thus has no part of the God Who made it.
