I've been following Kerry for two years. Hasn't shifted a single view in all that time. What you're talking about is just spin from those pretending everything is black and white in the world. Well guess what, everything is grey, and that's how you govern from the middle. You don't govern by saying one side is 100% wrong and the other 100% right. That's not realistic and very divisive. Absolutes in policy don't exist. Every single bill is a perfect example.
Especially the Iraq War vote. The right vote was right in the middle. But you're not allowed to say "maybe if--". Then again, that's exactly what the wisest position was.
