I used to hunt with a guy who had the same lung problem. His sister died from it but my hunting partner lasted about 10 years before he needed to be on oxygen.

Now this friend who has it needed oxygen just a couple of months after he was diagnosed. He's on steroids to slow it but he's steadily getting worse.

A neighbor's son had some kind of leukemia and got over it. He missed a year of school because he couldn't fight off even a cold while he was being treated.
