Prechter also misses the boat on energy and how important energy is longer term to the input side.

But I forgot to mention: A VERY IMPORTANT NUGGET in that discussion turned on the filling of the strategic reserves. Did you catch that?? Whoever made that comment -- hats off to them -- just slowing the filling of the reserves could lower prices temporarily before the election. That sounds like Bush ... and I'd bet it happens -- we may be close to that now with crude pushing the Iraq scare "high."
