And I suppose I am to believe your intransigent attitude had nothing to do with it. You dems made fools of yourself with your belligerent attitude during the State of the union speech, if you want the public to believe, the schism is solely GW's fault. Did you see the ugly, sour look on Ted's face, the dems refusal to applaud for anything, interrupting his speech, and generally making A##es of yourself. And you want to blame Bush. Look in the mirror if you want to see the real culprit.
For at least 2-3 years, Bush got his way on almost every issue with little concern for the other side. And now, you're surprised that the Dems look a little sour.
However, he has made no effort to respond to the issues of the 48% of the population that did not vote for him.
What kind of strange twisted logic is that? Gw didn't run on the dems platform, Al did. Most of the dems wouldn't vote for him anyway. He would be better off to keep his votes, than to try and swap them for the losing position.
Twisted logic? You want to get re elected and you didn't win the popular vote......I think it makes good sense.
Now, from where I come, it's just plain stupid to ignore nearly half your population base but then, its clear Rep. don't think like I do.
Which is why you are crying in your beer, and the Reps control the pres. and both houses of congress.
