Clinton was a intellectual Brahmin. Rhodes scholar, surronded b ythe likes of Laura Tyson, Robert Reich, James Rubin etc. titaks in their respectives fields.

Kerry is a war Brahmin as well as a Ivy Leaguer. Yes he is somewhat stiff. But that is what the Americans would want as their President for the next 4 years. Someone who has the experience on how Washington works, someone who has the experience on the war and the military, someone who has the experience of a prosecutor, a good orator and articulate in getting his point across. And most important of all, one who can go head to head with Bush, whether it is flying a Naval aircraft, taking special interest money, campaigning in the Red state, whatever.
