OT: We will see a lot of negative press after today concerning the SOX and semi equipment stocks. Probably a referral or two concerning this being another key reversal day but I'm not convinced.

I still think we buy stocks in this sector when their RSI's approach previous lows for those individual stocks. But we might get a chance to buy stocks like AMAT that have beat estimates this quarter and upped guidance to boot at even lower prices.

Why?

Sector rotation looks like it is putting technology on the back burner for now. If that was not true then why is the DJIA and S&P 500 still setting new highs while the NASDAQ is not. One word of warning though on those dow transports that continue to fail to confirm the recent broader market highs.

It worries me. Still we should be able to continue to profit from buying the dips and selling the rallies if we are patient to buy at the right time. But we are not getting the institutional support that has been so strong during the majority of this bull run. Not right now anyway.
