To argue about the wealthys tax rate is IN MY OPINION merely a Democrapic PLOY to keep our eye OFF the ball WHICH IS GOVT SPENDING. SPENDING. jdn JDN...The top 5% of income earners pay approximately 50% of the income taxes.(Latest IRS figures) The Presidential 2005 budget asked for $256 billion for highway construction. Out of the Senate came a bill for $318 billion which will go to the house, a horrendous increase of $62 billion. The President proposes and the Congress disposes and up, up and away. Those who blame the President for the budget deficit know the average Joe and Jane hear their BS, but won't hear the truth of why the budget gets out of hand. They depend on the ignorance of the masses. Especially the Demolibs. Josef Goebbels reincarnated. tell a big lie often enough and it becomes the truth. KM
