Qaddafi hasn't been a threat to us since the mid 80's. Who told you he was still a danger? Last I heard he was trying to mediate peace with Saddam and the US, playing the role of the former bad boy now only slightly-crazy uncle. You cannot judge someone by what they were 30 years ago. Back then Qaaddafi was a terrorist idiot and GW Bush was a drunken party slacker. People do change. The restrictions against doing business with Libya will mainly be dropped because Bush's Texan frinds want mohammar's crude. It's some of the finest lightest in the world. All Mohammar has to do now is apologize and everyone can drill oil together again.
