knarf,
Like most Canadians, I'm sitting here in the snow watching hockey.
You'll be pleased to know our politicians are taking security more
seriously and numerous improvements have been made. For instance
there's talk of us getting a helicopter. Sincerely, all our hopes
for a safe holidays south of the border.

With regard to SAMsys,

The largest central issue I think may be whether WalMart and the
DOD would change their minds at this point. I think it's fair to
say that it's extremely unlikely. It might also be fair to say
that either of them going ahead is more than enough to create an
enourmous wave of RFID reader demand. There's evidence that large
RFID applications in the real world work (the Marks&Spencer 4 week
trials on men's wear) at read rates sufficient to be excited about.

There's evidence that WalMart wants agile (read scaleable) readers
and that MF/MP readers software upgradeable are being presented
as the solution in major presentations. There's evidence that
SAMsys has all that, has the patent for it, and has proven it works
in real life (the M&S trial again as one public example).

We know that there were 26 companies that asked to be included in
the first hundred with WalMart yet we don't know who they are or
what plans they have on how they will implement RFID - we only know
they're keen on it.

We know there aren't the needed standards; but, we know it's into
a new set of hands and that WalMart and the Department of Defence
are waiting impatiently.

It's worthwhile looking up the number of companies that have
publicly asked SAMsys to help them develop a product. That and the
work with Atmel on the ISO18000 chip/reader sets are likely to
pop up like the Pressia products we saw recently.

I put it to you that we won't be waiting too long for the world to
catch up with SAMsys.

For instance I predict we are within 60 days of SMY consulting turning
down potential testing business. I predict that Cliff will get sick
of testing before the summer. I predict that 1,000 companies
initiate an RFID discovery process in 2004. I predict the majority
of the world's largest consumer companies are part of that.
I predict at least 1 large european contract in the first calendar
quarter and at least 1 eye popping north american contract in the
first half. I predict more contracts for Intellident and that by
the end of 2004 they are seen clearly as the leader in europe in
RFID. I predict at least one lisencing agreement announced with
a large global player in 2004. I predict a revenue spike in the
September quarter end and a profit in the December quarter end.
I predict that every quarter in the 2005 fiscal year will have
double digit sales. I predict the price sets a new high in 2004.
I predict RFID coverage in 2004 will be 10 times what it was in
2003.

I could be wrong; but, I've done my homework and in complete
seriousness it's very likely I'll get most of them. I chose the
words carefully. I'd be happy to discuss any but I should warn
you that I'm mentally retarded.

Note - double digit sales in fiscal 2005 refers to at least 10Mil
Cdn in sales in each quarter and over 40Mil Cdn in total that year.

Happy holidays everyone.
