The following is reposted from another board site and is by a poster that is telling their experience of Raptiva shots.
(it may not be typical)and
(remember Raptiva works faster than most other treatments)(it might give you a idea whats going on)(here it is below)

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>(pre-treatment)<<<<<<<<<<<<<
Hi every one. I posted on here before about having access to some P studies
going on in my area. Looks like the study im going to get into is for
Raptiva. They took my blood today and asked lots of questions. When the
blood work comes back ok I can start! (next week) I cant wait. She said she
has seen very good results so far with the bilogicals (raptive. embrel,
amevive) This is an open lable 12 week study. I asked about the rebounds
after you get off Raptiva and she said that happens to all the bilogicals
(though amevive takes a months)since they are not a cure . The nurse said
that after 12 week study she can put me into another study for amevive or
embrel.
One Really interesting thing she said after I asked why there was a Raptiva
study going on after its allready been FDA approved. She said she thinks
its just marketing to get people on the drug!

>>>>>>>>>>Raptiva-1st shot<<<<<<<<<<<<<<
I just started the raptiva study Wednesday. I got my first shot of .06 ml
(starting dosage) and will go up to .9ml next week. About 12 hours after
the shot my face became flush (red) but it went way in a few hours. No
other real side effects to report yet and of course no clearing.
I will post weekly on my progress. The study lasts for 12 weeks.
I talked to the Doc about rebounds and the said they will put me on an
amevive study after this one, so hopefully that will help.
One interesting thing the DOC said when I asked about side effects was they
had a raptiva study going for Very Severe P, the people in the study took
raptiva shots Every Day. The side effects for them have been very minimal
and results so far pretty good.

>>>>>>>>>>Raptiva 2nd shot<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<
Got my second shot of raptiva today. It was .9ml up from the first dose of
..6ml(they do that so your body can get used to the drug)
So far no clearing. side effects so far with the .6ml where: Feel a little
more itchy (never had problems with itching, but it could be this crazy
cold weather we are having up north)a tiny bit more achy while lifting
weights, a flush face that lasted a few hours after my very first shot
(have not seen that today) and I gained 4 pounds!!(thought that could be
from all the crap I ate and the drinking this past weekend, GO PATS!!)
I'm learing how to do the shots my self now. I have one more shot at the
doctors office then they will give me a kit so i can do the shots at home.
Doesnt hurt at all.
Thats about it. The Doc said every one is differnt, but most people see
some results in 4-8 shots.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Raptiva 3rd shot<<<<<<<<<<<<<
Got my 3rd shot of raptiva today.9ml (a day early because threat of the
snow storm tomorrow) This is my last shot at the docs. I will be doing home
injections from now until I go back to the doc in 4 weeks.
So after the 2nd shot my joints seemed to ach more when working out and my
P is a little more itchy than normal(which isnt really that itchy). This
might be due to the cold weather here. Other than that no other side
effects.
I noticed today that some of my P is starting to fade!!! one small spot at
the top of my belly button is gone and little bit(2 out of many spots) of P
on my butocks are fading. Nothing happing on the big spots but they do seem
a little less flaky.
Will update next week when I take the next shot.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Raptiva 4th shot<<<<<<<<<<<<<<
Gave my self the 4th shot of raptiva today(0.9ml). Pretty easy to do and
did not hurt at all.
The spots that where "fading" when I took the last shot do not seem to be
fading any more. All my other P is the same as when I started taking
raptiva. The raptiva has been in my body for 3 weeks now. So hopefully I
will see some resualts soon. (doc said most people who respond to raptiva
see reualts by the 6 or 7th shot)
I have had a slight cold for the last few days.I usally dont get colds, but
I dont really know if it has any thing to do with raptiva. Other than that
no side effects this past week.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Raptiva 5th shot<<<<<<<<<<<<<<
Gave my self my 5th raptiva shot the other day (0.9ml). Raptiva has been in
my body now for 29 days.
Still no clearing :( My P is the same as the day I started (except a few
(2) spots that "faded" a little but they havent changed for a while now)
Have a had a pretty bad cold since my last shot more than a week ago. My
colds never last this long. Not sure if its the raptiva, seems likely
though. Other than that not much to report. I have one more shot to give my
self before I go back to the docs in 2 weeks. I hope it starts working by
then. Will update when I take my next shot.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Raptiva 6th shot <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<
Took my 6th shot of raptiva today (0.9ml)
It seems like it is working some what. A bunch of the P spots on my front
and back are breaking up! Also the the 2 big spots that I said were fading
are now about 70% gone! There is still a long ways to go until im clear.
There are lots of huge spots that the raptiva does not seem to be working
on yet. I would say about 10-20% of the p spots are breaking up or
clearing. I do have some new small P spots forming on the top of my back.
Hopefully that is just temporary.
I go back to the Doc's next week to see how every thing is going and to get
more meds. I guess I'll stay on the raptiva for the next 6 shots and see
how it goes.
My cold is basicly gone so no real side effects to report
