Illegals have been coming from Mexico for the last 50 years to work in the fields of the southwest. They come because no American is willing to work at those jobs for those wages.

It's not a democrat or republican problem. It's probably not a problem at all. The only reason that it is a problem is that it shows how porous our borders really are. I doubt that there is any real economic drain because of illegals coming to work here. They pay taxes, and likely don't get anything in return in the long run.

It's just the typical repukeagain racist remarks about hardworking law abiding folks looking for a better opportunity. For years everyone looked the other way as these hard working folks did the field work. Now suddenly they're being made scapegoats.
