I remember Anschutz as the extremely clever fellow who parlayed his ownership of railroad right-of-ways into the Quest fiber optic network. His timing and understanding of the potential for fiber was impeccable. An American success story.

I hadn't considered Anschutz a right-winger before. Is there anything you can point to along these lines?
