Re: Kerry was much more of a war hero than JFK. JFK's PT-109 adventure was hyped. He got run over by a Japanese destroyer. He won no battles at all.

There is something that is deeply perverse in calling John Kerry a war hero. He was hired as a thug, by an immoral war profiteering machine, and his role was to murder people engaged in an effort to end colonialism.

To call Kerry a hero for being on the wrong side of history when he enlisted is silly. He is no hero. He was at the time, a buccaneer, a rambo type, a sociopath who actually had already spoken out in opposition to the war when he was still in school at Yale.

John Kerry was more of a war criminal than a war hero.

A fact that he certainly alluded to in his most famous speech:

I listened to this speech today and I was proud of John Kerry. He was a remarkably articulate 27 year old at the time.

My question is this. How can a man who can so eloquently describe the viciousness and inhumanity of the U.S. military machine, who knew that the first Gulf War was being sold under false pretenses, who knew that the second Gulf War was also being sold under false pretenses end up voting in favor of giving George Bush carte blanche to lead American troops into the killing fields of Iraq?

How can Kerry be so two-faced?
