American soldiers were not committing atrocities in large numbers in vietnam no matter how many times some sectors in the USA say it was so. My Lai was verified...that's it. That was one too many. There probably were some minor incidents here & there...like dogs shot by some scumbag who was drafted & should never have been in military, but that type of soldier was the exception not the average. It's also the reason we have a voluntary military today.
