For the past 20 years, thanks to Reagan's first pass as trickle down econonics which he specifically engineered to release the burdens of Big Business for financial responsibility for their retirees who did the work to build the CEOs personal wealth, tens of millions of middle and upper-middle class employees of Fortune 500 companies retired on "lump sum annuities" that mostly consisted of their company's stock -- exclusively -- and little else.

During the past five years, company after company is "cancelling" health care benefits not only for retirees, but for the currently employed.

Now, company after company is shutting the whole, tiresome damned thing down altogether and offshoring entire business functions to third world countries to avoid not only the responsibility of providing financial security in the form of health insurance benefits, but SALARIES that enable their business models to succeed in selling products to US consumers for as much as they possibly can.

How anyone can fathom that "business" has ethical concerns for "its" stock holders -- much less employees -- is ludicrous.

I see winger after winger "standing up" for "business."

They are simply FOOLS.

There is no other explanation.
