Katrina being "duped" explained (thanks to the folks on iHub who also watch the show): As the real estate "expert" Katrina figured she knew which property would be the best one to have and "hick-from-Alaska/Montana" Troy would have no clue. She expected Troy to wait to hear what the "expert" thought and then say that's what he wanted too. So from her perspective, she was "tricked" into revealing her "expert" knowledge. She didn't know that Troy had already overheard her telling her team which apartment she wanted. I though the choice was a no-brainer. But then again, I'm a city/suburb guy too. If it were farm or ranch property, maybe Troy would have been the expert, lol. They should have presented their choices in writing to the real estate agent. Not sure why Katrina diden't think of that. I'm also kind of mystified at the role of the agent in this. Shouldn't the agent have been responsible for lining up prospectiver renters ? .......... So exactly how did Katrina get the contractor to provide thousands of dollars of stuff -- IMMEDIATELY -- for a fraction of the price ? Hmmmm .... I wish they could have shown us that. And wasn't it convenient that at 4:50pm a renter showed up in the nick of time to sign a lease for their apartment ? Hmmmmmm ....... Welllll, after all ...... it is a TV show, lol.
