I read about it a few weeks ago and told a few cold sufferers about it and all reported a complete recovery within a few days of using it. I'm now finishing two full days of use and my cold never got worse than a slightly sore throat runny nose and cough. At this time I believe the symptoms will be gone by tomorrow AM. This is great as I hate catching colds, especially since my kids and grandkids living with me usually get sick at the same time (we're all miserable). My question, the product label says not to give to children under three years of age without a Dr.'s permission. I'm not always a Dr. fan especially since the last time the baby (2YO) had a cold and was miserable (steady crying). I had the wife take her to the Dr's office to check for a possible ear infection and they wanted to hospitalize her immediately and dragged her to a hospital by ambulance. The wife refused her admittance and the resident called me thinking he would get my OK (his mistake). Excuse Me, but the last place I want my babies is in a hospital where rampant and difficult to eliminate infections are present (the wonders of antibiotics). The over prescribed use of antibiotics have caused great heartache to me and my oldest daughter (from another marriage). Because I'm stupid and don't know anything while Dr.'s do, the ex (against my pleading not to) took her to a Dr. who prescribed antibiotics every time she had a sniffle. You can guess she now need the strongest and latest antibiotics to combat frequent infections in her screwed up immune system not to mention her teeth turning black. Didn't mean to run-on but I had to let you all know how I feel about this. Has anyone used with or without a Dr.'s permission the new Zicam in any of their children? BTW Baby is doing fine and very healthy without being hospitalized for every cold! This liability thing has gotton out of control.
