One of Anschutz many, many ventures.

<font color=maroon>"Weatherman Draw in south-central Montana is a valley that contains the largest
collection of Native American rock art on the continent. If the Bureau of Land
Management's recent decision to allow oil drilling stands, this sacred landscape will
be invaded by machines, barbed wire fences, security guards, and vandalism.

.....

Anschutz wants to drill for gas and oil in Weatherman
Draw [bold added ] and he expects to find 10 million barrels of black gold. Just 12
days after the Bush administration took office, the BLM approved the exploration permit,
prompting 10 tribes, Congressional Democrats, the Sierra Club, and the National Trust for
Historic Preservation to question the BLM's abrupt decision.
</font>

Why the abrupt decision? Perhaps the $100,000 that he gave to the Bush campaign or the $300,000 he gave to the RNC or the matching donations by corporations that he controls had something to do with it.

Of course it didn't really cost him anything since he received more than $300,000 in tax savings last year.
