The opinion stated in the past thread can be further seen by looking at the last 5 down weeks in a row of the SOX in the following table.

At the bottom line, the SOX is down 8 percent, while AMAT, KLAC, TER and NVLS, are down 11, 11, 18 and 22 percent respectively. Clearly, the 4 semi-equips have been a "real downer" for the SOX over this time period.

Right now, with their low PE's and PEG's, the 4 semi-equips in the table may be a good buy. Time to do your own due diligence.;)
