but you obviously don't know enough about economics to be "quite sure" about anything.

This is not about economic theory. Thats what BushCo doesn't get.

The Bush economic legacy:
- highest deficit ever in only 3 years
- first president to lose jobs in his term since hoover
- largest trade deficit EVER
- months spent declaring technology as the reason for loss of jobs while job creation in india/china is larger than any post recession period
- wage gap increasing for the first time in a decade
- constant decline in individual income tax receipts months after the recession ended (means people earning LESS not more)

I'm glad Mankiw is an economic expert but it does nothing to disspell Bush's dismal record, which is the REAL legacy of Mankiw's disastrous economic policies.

Sorry your man Bush has failed, and all you can do is messenger shooting, but try to reflect on how this mess happened and how to resolve it please. ( I find it humorous that Bush supporters fall back on economic theory as an excuse for the BushCo reality - if I fail my driving test can I blame it on the "theory" of the test as wrong and get my license anyway? )
