Hi Ann,

Have you heard of the Katharine Gun trial in Great Britain?

If not, it is a fascinating story about what is wrong with the UN.

Let me know what you've read about the case, so I don't blow a lot of time on this.

The essence of the story is that the U.S. NSA illegally wiretapped the telephones and computer modems of several countries on the UN Security Council in February and March, 2002 in order to sabotage negotiations to extend the inspection regime and prevent the illegal U.S. invasion.

Katharine Gun was the whistleblower, and she's being tried and potentially sent to prison for two years for telling the truth.

Let me know how much you know about this case. If you want to know why the UN is ineffective, I suggest you put up a mirror to America.
