Hi Mephisto,

I just finished Alexandra Robbins' "The Secrets of the Tomb", and she pretty well dispells the notion that drunkenness was encouraged at the Tomb. In fact, with rare exceptions, the bi-weekly meetings were sober (i.e. non-alcoholic beverage) events. Some club members, like Party-Boy George, would, naturally get together with like-non-minded friends and party through the night after they left the Tomb. But that was the exception and not the rule.
