I have bad news for you. There is life after stocks.

SI is devoted to the pursuit of money.

I am devoted to the pursuit of a happy life.

There is a helluva difference.

A moment or two respite from the toil of investing, or better yet enjoying the true pleasures of life, to discuss politics is only outrageous if you are close-minded.

I don't need more grief from you. The world provides enough.

Go back and carefully read ID's post. It was shockingly insulting. Then read your own. It was too.

This thread has been pretty wide open in all respects except for substantial personal insults. Digs are OK; innuendo is OK.

ID, who never wore a uniform, spoke insultingly about American heroes. Like he has some qualifications to make judgements...I responded. You tried to chastise me. FWIW I spent 11 years overseas and received 13 combat awards... You are pissing on the wrong man's leg.

But what the hell...13 is an unlucky number...Or is it?
