Bush-Cheney '04 Announces Nebraska Campaign Leadership Team

Arlington, VA – Today, Bush-Cheney ’04 announced its campaign leadership team for Nebraska. The Bush-Cheney ‘04 Nebraska Leadership Team will help build a network of grassroots support and serve as messengers for the President’s re-election campaign.

Nebraska Governor Mike Johanns and Senator Chuck Hagel will serve as Co-Chairs of the Bush-Cheney ’04 Nebraska Leadership Team. Governor Johanns is serving his second term as governor, and Senator Hagel is serving his second term as the senior senator from Nebraska.

"During some of America’s most difficult times, President Bush continued on a path of courageous and decisive leadership that keeps our nation focused on a strong and optimistic future,” said Governor Johanns. “I am pleased to be a member of the Bush Leadership Team for Nebraska and look forward to helping him run on his strong record of achievement."

“Since his victory in 2000, President Bush has turned his campaign promises into sound results that have positively resonated with the people of Nebraska. Our Nebraska Leadership team will work tirelessly to highlight the president’s accomplishments and ensure he is our leader for another four years,” said Senator Hagel.

Campaign Manager Ken Mehlman added, “The efforts of our Nebraska Leadership Team are crucial to the success of the President. Our experienced team will make certain the president’s message is echoed throughout the state. ”
