uw,
Not like you to make it quite so personal.
If I had written that both of your posts are full of integrity, it would be difficult to refute that I was being personal. Yet when I write that both of your posts are full of BS, you respond that my post is personal. Thank you for the compliment.
The reason I believe both of you are full of BS is because both of you rarely, if ever, attempt to acknowledge that the other has some merit to the argument. Yet both of you are so smart, maybe even brilliant, that surely both of you realize there is indeed merit to the other's arguments. Both of you fit in well with all the political BSers on television every day, only they're making a lot more money with their BS. Both of you are to be commended for providing yours for free.
FWIW I spent 11 years overseas and received 13 combat awards
And Kissinger and Arafat were awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. Comparing you with them isn't meant to insult you; I'm sure your integrity is far above theirs. But frankly, awards have always meant nothing to me. Those are but two examples of why that's the case.
I have no idea about whether or not you've been effective in your life-long pursuits, just as you have no idea if I've been effective in mine. For me, awards aren't the measuring stick.
I have bad news for you. There is life after stocks.
Not that I should take that personally. Nah. That's because you don't write personal posts. Yeah, right. More BS. Yada yada yada.
By the way, I enjoyed wearing the sweatshirt yesterday for the umpteenth time that you gave me. And I look forward to wearing it over and over and being reminded of your generosity. (Yes, that was a personal comment also.) Thanks again. I don't hold it against you that the banter that you and Id publish here is full of BS. I'm just making an observation that you can throw in the trash can if that's your choice.
